Agency Nursing Network
Join our network
NHS and independent sector health care providers need agency nursing staff to help fill their staffing rotas in order to deliver safe and effective care.
Too often, however, agency nurses and HCAs face challenges in the workplace - such as a lack of orientation, poor patient handovers and being moved from ward to ward.
If you work for an agency, the RCN’s Agency Nursing Network in the West Midlands offers you professional guidance and support – and helps your voice to be heard on matters of interest and concern to you.
The network is free to attend and is open to pre- and post-registration nursing staff from any health care setting and sector, whether they are an RCN member or not.
We hold a number of meetings and events each year, all aimed at nursing staff who undertake agency work locally. The aim is to provide the space and opportunity to share learning, exchange ideas and explore issues and challenges of particular interest to agency nurses.
New and experienced presenters are welcome to share their work or facilitate a professional discussion or workshop. This can count towards evidence of professional development for NMC revalidation.
