Caring for carers – women’s health

17 May 2023, 17:45 - 18:30

  • Room 1B, Ground Floor, The Brighton Centre, King's Road, Brighton, BN1 2GR
Hosted by: RCN Midwifery Forum

Collaboration: RCN Fertility Nursing Forum and Women's Health Forum

89% of NMC registrants are women, and women make up three quarters of the NHS workforce  During this facilitated discussion we will discuss the impact of women’s health issues on nurses, midwives, nursing associates and nursing support workers.

It will focus on how nurses and midwives can support themselves and their colleagues, from ward and team to board and country-wide strategic direction.

This event identifies that menstruation, reproductive and fertility issues, pregnancy, and menopause also affect trans men and non-binary people but recognises that the majority of those affected are women.

The session is open to all grades and roles.
