Delirium Champions in the community

This event will showcase the RCN’s Delirium Champions project, providing background to the project, a view of the education materials and evaluation received so far.
Delegates will be invited to discuss the next steps in the project’s life and contribute to its content. The content of the event is evidenced based and reviews the current evidence around delirium recognition and management in community settings. You will:
- learn how to recognise early delirium in community dwelling older people
- reflect on own practice regarding how to escalate patients who may be delirious
- take part in dicussion of the future content of the education programme
