Learning objectives:
1. To understand how to recognise hypos and hyper's.
2. To gain an understanding of the importance of the health care assistant role in of the management of diabetic hypo’s and hypers.
3. To identify the impact of poor diabetes control.
4. To understand the treatment of hypos and hypers.
5. To understand the long term impact of poor management of diabetes.
