District nursing: Safer caseloads, acuity, demand and capacity

The delivery of a district nursing service is extremely complex, often to the most vulnerable in our society. At the core is a need to ensure the safety of both the patient and staff population.
This event will provide an update on key national work to date, and will also provide an opportunity for interactive group work to influence plans to ensure ‘safer caseloads’ for all. It is aimed at district nurses and their teams as well as nurses from a variety of backgrounds, across hospital and community provision, who interact with this key community nursing service.
