Genomics - Nothing but junk?

Advances in the world of genomics, genetics and epigenetics and the implications they have for nurses across all fields of practice.
Alongside these advances have come advances in health care, for example, in December 2017 the New England Journal of Medicine published two papers on gene therapy for haemophilia A and B. The possibility of new gene therapies to address not just congenital and rare conditions, but more common conditions such as cancers and heart disease are very real. This has implications for nurses across all fields of practice.Speaker
