HEE’s Clinical endoscopist training programme

Designed to meet service need in the face of rising demand for endoscopy services, this JAG-supported programme comprehensively trains health professionals to be scoping independently in their new role within 7 months.

Many of the trainees who have joined the programme have nursing backgrounds and they are going on to further develop their careers. In this session you will learn about the training programme and how it is supporting career development whilst enabling those who train to continue to work directly with patients.
