How nursing and nurses can impact global health

This event will be led by speakers from organisations and campaigns who highlight and empower nursing globally.
The speakers at this event will give an overview of the impact of global nursing including:
- the Sustainable Development Goals relevant to health
- how developing nursing will have the triple impact of contributing to these by improving health, promoting gender equality
- describing the work currently underway to highlight and empower nursing and nurses globally.
The basis of information shared at this fringe event will be from the World Health Organisation, Unicef, the International Council of Nurses and the Nursing Now campaign.
