Implementing advanced practice: What governance is required?

Advanced practice has developed rapidly in the last two years. Organisations are employing advanced practitioners but many organisations, and some practitioners, do not understand what governance needs to be in place, how advanced practitioners should be managed, the need for credentialing and how all this should be implemented.
This session will explore the key elements which should be implemented to safeguard advanced practitioners, their organisations and the patients they care for. We will also highlight credentialing, national developments, policy and the need for a robust governance framework.
