On 14 June 2017 a fire broke out in the 24 storey Grenfell tower block in North London.

The fire was one of the UK’s worst modern disasters and 72 residents died. In addition to these deaths, residents, witnesses and emergency personnel were left traumatised by the event that unfolded that night. Soon after, Dany Cotton, the London Fire Commissioner, spoke out about the importance of prompt psychological support for fire officers and has since been a advocate for promoting mental health in the workforce.

Dany will share the experiences of trauma post Grenfell and what workforce support is necessary, including breaking down the stigma of asking for help.
