John Goodlad Memorial Lecture

John Goodlad worked for the RCN as a labour relations officer from 1977 until his death in November 1991. This annual lecture was established as a tribute to him.
This year’s speaker is Jennifer Deeney whose husband, Kieron died in a construction accident just a few weeks after they were married. Jen is a neonatal matron but in her spare time works tirelessly to raise awareness of workplace health and safety issues. This event is aimed at all delegates but will be of special interest to RCN safety representatives, those who work in risk and patient safety and occupational health.
