Keynote speaker – Caroline Lucas, Green Party MP for Brighton

Caroline Lucas is the Member of Parliament for Brighton Pavilion. Prior to her election in 2010 and during the first part of her tenure as MP, she also served as leader of the Green Party of England and Wales from 2008 to 2012, and Co-leader from 2016 to 2018. Prior to this, from 1999-2010, Caroline was one of the Party's first MEPs and represented the South East region until becoming the UK's first Green MP.

Caroline has been a strong advocate for the RCN and nursing staff throughout her career, and has supported many of our campaigns including our current Fair Pay for Nursing campaign. Caroline will be addressing Congress sharing her key insights and reflections with members on a diverse range of issue areas.
