Leadership lessons from defence nursing

Defence nurses undergo leadership training and appointments throughout their careers. In this seminar-style event defence nurses will share insights from their deployed leadership experiences. Speakers will include the Chief Nursing Officer for Defence, an additional Army, Navy and RAF nurse and an Army HCA.

Speakers will share their leadership insights and advice which are applicable across all types of nursing practice, not just defence.

Delegates will:

• gain a better understanding of leadership and what it means within defence nursing
• learn useful insights from the leadership experience of defence nurses which can be applied toyour own practice
• learn tools to overcome leadership challenges in your own field.
