Making disability equality a reality in the workplace

Despite progress, there is a widening gap in the experience of those with some form of disability and those without.
The impact of discrimination and disadvantage on the grounds of disability is felt across numerous areas of the nursing workforce from accessing non-mandatory learning and development to career development and pay gaps.
This session aims to provide you with the knowledge and skills to counter this pattern and improve the working lives of colleagues who identify as living with disability. This event is aimed at:
- RCN representatives
- delegates, particularly those in bands 5-7
- those who have some form of disability and are seeking support.
