Management of frailty in care homes and the community

This interactive event will provide delegates with an overview of frailty in the context of care homes and community settings.
The event will be broken down into the three main sections which focus on causes and prevention of frailty, recognition of frailty syndromes and validated assessment of frailty and management of frailty. Each section will be comprised of ten minutes theory and a five minute case-study relevant to practice. The session will assume participants have no knowledge of frailty. The aim of the session is to both raise awareness about frailty and enhance practice in non-NHS settings.
