Regulating Rita tells the story of a nurse who gets into difficulty in her clinical setting and eventually ends up in front of a regulatory panel.
The play highlights the work of both the RCN and the nursing regulator and. Starring RCN members, staff and lawyers, along with Mrs Mary Hanratty CBE (former Vice President of the NMC) and Mrs Rosemary Wilson (Registered Nurse and Barrister of Law).
Session aims:
- Participants will have an opportunity to view the play “Regulating Rita” and will develop an understanding of their roles and responsibilities.
- Provides an opportunity to learn about the importance of speaking up about concerns which negatively impact on patient care.
