Singing for health – singing in solidarity

17 May 2023, 13:00 - 13:45

  • Room 1B, Ground Floor, The Brighton Centre, King's Road, Brighton, BN1 2GR
Hosted by: RCN Education Forum and the East Sussex Branch

Collaboration: Kirsty Martin, choral activist, choir leader, and composer

The beauty of community singing is that it is totally inclusive, everyone who can speak, can sing. It is a wonderful way to bring people of all communities together to work with a common purpose; to make a fabulous sound.

The event will offer a unique experience to join a community event that will give a taster of the benefits of singing, just for fun. It will offer the chance to be part of the first ever RCN pop-up choir, singing a song of solidarity using words written by nurses.

It will have resonance with every nurse regardless of specialty, role or grade.
