Learning objectives:
1. To recognise warning signs that indicate increased risk of suicide. 
2. To gain knowledge of “at risk” groups associated with increased risk of suicide. 
3. To gain knowledge of intervention strategies in dealing with suicidal people. 
4. To gain knowledge of government frameworks to tackle suicide rates in the UK. 
5. To gain knowledge of access to emergency help/assistance for those experiencing suicidal ideation.
