The cost of living crisis: impact and support for nursing staff

Collaboration: RCN Ethnic Minority Sub-Group and the Cavell Nurses’ Trust

The Mental Health Forum, In collaboration with the Cavell Nurses' Trust, will report on the impact of the cost-of-living crisis amongst nurses working across the UK, highlighting practical financial support available to those facing what can become a personal and financial crisis. 

It will build on the hardship survey results reported at RCN Congress 2022 and provide an opportunity for participants to hear about wellbeing strategies and their impact, and also encouragement for employers to support their staff.

The event will benefit delegates through providing information on the practical support the RCN Foundation Benevolent service can provide to them through its grant-making and sign-posting service.
