The defence nursing contribution to improving global health

Following on from the All Party Parliamentary Group on Global Health Triple Impact Report, Nursing Now, launched in February 2018, is a campaign to improve health globally by raising the status and profile of nursing.
The Defence Medical Services have a unique ability to access areas of the global health care workforce to strengthen nursing, improve patient care and influence broader organisational change. The UK defence contribution to capacity building of foreign military health care systems will be discussed, focusing specifically on the nursing component and how this can facilitate improved health care standards and contribute to Nursing Now goals.
