Tums and bums! Updating the RCN Catheter Care guidance and Bowel Care Management of Lower Bowel Dysfunction guidance

The Bladder & Bowel Forum Steering committee have been updating the RCN resources on catheter care, bowel management care and digital removal of faeces.

In the learning event hosts and delegates will discuss:

• who can do what to whom and when and what training will they need to be able to do this safely?
• spinal injuries –are we getting bowel care right?
• chaperones, do we need them?
• safety when using a 3 way catheter. 

This event is aimed at all health care professionals, students and health care assistants.
