NEWS2: An update of the National Early Warning Score

The National Early Warning Score (NEWS) was published in 2012, together with a Report by the Royal College of Physicians.
The RCN Critical Care Forum and National Outreach Forum were heavily involved its development and publication – indeed, without this nursing input, the NEWS would never have been taken up so well nationwide. 2017 saw an update to the 2012 version and this fringe event will describe the changes and report on the success of NEWS across the four countries.
