Acknowledging the importance of our own mental health as health professionals and wellbeing in the working environment

06 Jun 2022, 13:00 - 13:45

  • Carron 1, Scottish Event Campus, Exhibition Way, Glasgow , G3 8YW
Hosted by: Public Health Forum with the Mental Health Forum

Mental Health has no boundaries and covers all walks of life, wherever you are from. With everyone working hard and pushing themselves to the limits, our expectations of others and ourselves is particularly high.

Having witnessed an increase in counselling referrals for trauma informed care during the pandemic, the RCN is continually looking at ways to help tackle these issues, with members able to access online resources for further information and guidance.

This session will help to raise awareness of your own mental health and will enable delegates to reflect and seek further help if they need it. It will de-stigmatise mental health in our profession and will help raise awareness about the importance of psychological wellbeing in the workplace.
