Leadership legacies from COVID-19

07 Jun 2022, 13:00 - 13:45

  • Alsh 1, Scottish Event Campus, Exhibition Way, Glasgow , G3 8YW
Hosted by: RCN Foundation and the Nurses in Management and Leadership Forum

The impact of effective leadership on the psychological wellbeing of nurses is continuously being examined and has undergone increasing scrutiny due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

During this event, a panel of experts will discuss the impact of nursing leadership strategies to emerge from COVID-19 on the mental health and wellbeing of health care professionals. They will also explore how these effective leadership strategies can be embedded across the culture of nursing and midwifery professions going forward, and how these strategies can have a positive contribution to the nursing workforce’s mental health and emotional wellbeing.

In addition, the discussion will also provide the audience with a voice to raise issues relating to leadership in relation to their own mental health and emotional wellbeing.
