This course encourages participants to engage with strategic policy and provides the tools for such engagement and for influencing the wider agenda.
As a participant in the RCN Wales Political Leadership Programme you will hear from influential guest speakers, carefully selected from a range of current and former politicians and nursing leaders.
This course will appeal to those who want to:
• Understand the influence of politics on healthcare policy
• Influence change in health or social policy
• Develop strategies to shape policy
• Understand the legislative and policy context of devolution
• Gain the support of external stakeholders
• Improve their leadership skills
The overall aim is to develop individuals, teams and organisations to influence health, health policy and health care.

Course fees: The course fee is £325 plus VAT, which includes registration for the course, course materials, lunch and refreshments.
Cancellation policy: If the delegate cancels after the booking has been accepted, the delegate will be liable to the full booking fee. However, places can be substituted with the prior knowledge and agreement of the RCN.
