RCN Derbyshire Annual General Meeting
04 Oct 2019, 13:30 - 17:30
Choose event information:
All RCN Derbyshire members are invited to attend the branch Annual General Meeting, which will begin with a buffet lunch and include talks on sepsis by a number of speakers, including Katie Dutton, RCN Student Nurse of the Year in 2018.
If you can attend one branch meeting a year, then please make it the AGM. Come along and help make a difference, by shaping local branch activities for the year ahead and electing your branch committee members.
The AGM is an opportunity for you to get involved in shaping the future of your branch, have your say on how the branch is run and learn more about the activities it undertakes.
And if you're interested in getting more involved, why not consider standing for one of the branch committee posts, which includes branch chair, secretary and treasurer?
Being a branch committee member is a great personal and professional development opportunity – you can find out more about the roles here.
If you want to put yourself forward for election, please email the regional administrator on east.midlands@rcn.org.uk. This will ensure that anyone who can't attend the meeting itself is still able to stand. Alternatively, you can put yourself forward at the meeting itself.
If you're a new member and this is your first AGM, please come along and get involved. It’s a great way to meet local colleagues and other RCN members and influence the year ahead.
