RCN Northern Ireland Networks

RCN Northern Ireland Networks are groups of members who have a special interest and/or expertise in a particular nursing speciality, working together to share ideas and improve practice. RCN Northern Ireland Networks:

• promote the role and raise awareness of their particular nursing speciality

• contribute to the national RCN agenda in their particular field of nursing

• support nursing colleagues, sharing knowledge, expertise and innovation that will influence and enhance evidence-based practice

• provide opportunities for members to share service developments and information around recognised good practice, and provide practice development opportunities through seminars, workshops and conferences

• review and respond to consultations on regional policies, strategies and other service developments in order to shape and influence the nursing agenda

• help to identify, promote and develop future nurse leaders.
