08 Jun 2022, 17:45 - 18:30

  • Carron 1, Scottish Event Campus, Exhibition Way, Glasgow , G3 8YW
Hosted by: District and Community Nursing Forum and Mental Health Forum with the Nursing Support Worker Committee

This event will explore how employers of community nursing teams can prevent and take action to recognise the impact of stress and emotional fatigue on the wellbeing of community staff employees.

A key aspect of care delivery in the community is lone working and the provision of care to a broad range of patients, including end of life care, supporting patients with dementia and mental health issues.

Supported by members of the Mental Health Forum, this session will look at the impact working within the community can have on staff wellbeing, it will provide examples of evidence-based approaches that can help improve staff wellbeing, as well as highlight interventions to improve mental health wellbeing on team working and colleague support.
