Perioperative nursing: A workforce fit for the future

Providing a professional voice for perioperative members, the Perioperative Forum is excited to be working alongside your expertise and knowledge to develop a resource for all who want to develop their practice in perioperative care. 

As a forum, we work closely with the Centre for Perioperative Care and the Association for Perioperative Practice and have been involved in the development of clinical guidelines, which will be showcased in this awareness raising session. 

During this interactive talk, we will discuss what 'perioperative' means, the challenges faced over the coming years in terms of waiting times and staffing issues, and where to find useful resources.

Members will be encouraged to tell us what they want from the forum, helping us to develop a vision for the next two to four years.
