This afternoon seminar aims to provide and update knowledge and skills in relation to Pressure Ulcer Prevention and Management
This seminar is aimed at Health Care Support Workers and Nursing Students, and is suitable for those working in both the Independent Sector and the NHS.
Topics include:
- Definitions of a pressure ulcer and factors contributing towards its development
- Categorising pressure ulcers
- Assessing a person's skin
- Risk Assessment and prevention measures
- Prevention of pressure ulcers - SSKIN
- All Wales Guidance
Course fees include tea/coffee and course handouts on the day.
