Retired members: Delivering on lifelong learning

Affiliated with the National Pensioners Convention (NPC), the RCN seeks to represent the interests of its retired members.  

Retired members are valued for their skills and experience, much of which can be transferred to other entities in the organisation. For example, RCN Scotland has been involved in a scheme whereby retired nurses support and mentor student nurses.

This event will explore ways in which these valuable colleagues can help other members in their personal development and wider campaigns.

Aimed at all RCN members who are either retired, approaching retirement, or who value the contribution of retired members, this session will draw on contributions from retired members. Delegates will leave this programme with a better understanding of how these individuals can mentor and support lifelong learning for all members.
