This document was developed by a multi-disciplinary group based in Northern Ireland, involving the RCN, the Royal College of Psychiatrists, the Northern Ireland Association of Social Workers and the College of Occupational Therapists. It is designed to assist health and social care professionals who are involved in practices where people in their care may be restricted in some way.
