Dear Colleagues,
It has been some time since we have been in touch, and we wanted to provide you an update into the work that the steering committee has been involved in on your behalf.
The Royal College of Nursing Critical Care and Flight Nurse forum has approximately 8700 members, and is made up of nurses working in critical care and office-based international medical assistance, as well as flight nurses who help medically repatriate patients. We also welcome and include students and nurses who want to get into any of these areas and actively support and promote these career paths within our forum. We have a multi-skilled steering committee and an active Facebook group which offer guidance, develop standards and best practice, and deliver education and resources to our members.
We also wanted to advise you that applications are now open to join the steering committee. We welcome applications from members who have a passion for critical care, flight and medical assistance who are motivated and interesting in actively working to support our members. Apply here applications close on 14th August
If you love your job but want to see what happens at a national level we’d love to have you on our steering committee. Regardless of your level of experience, we need passion and enthusiasm to create new projects, represent the RCN nationally at professional meetings and represent our members by driving critical care and flight nursing forwards
