Choose event information:
All members of the RCN Lancashire East Branch are warmly invited to take part in their branch AGM.
If you can attend one branch meeting a year, please make it the Annual General Meeting (AGM) as it is your opportunity to help influence the future work and activity of your local branch.
The purpose of the AGM is to:
- Meet your current branch committee
- Receive the branch annual report and financial statement
- Evaluate the year's branch activity and discuss plans for the following year
- Elect your Branch Committee members for the year ahead
- Ratify elected RCN representatives within the branch
- Network with colleagues from across the branch
Have you considered standing as a member of the branch committee for the next term office? You can read more about the different roles by viewing our branch officer role descriptors here. If you have any queries about standing for election or if you wish to put yourself forwards for a role, please email Carole Glaister, Regional Administrator, in advance of the AGM.
If you are an accredited RCN representative, you will need to be ratified at the AGM in order to remain a rep for another 12 months. If you cannot attend the AGM in person to do this, but wish to remain a representative at this time, please email Carole Glaister so that she can inform the branch of your intention.
Please note, there is no requirement to book your place at this meeting.
