This session will provide a practical guide using models of care and film clips, giving attendees an introduction to the context, numbers and policy relevant to dementia.
Presented by Sue Pinfold-Brown, Freelance Trainer and Consultant in Dementia Care, this will include:
- types and symptoms of dementia
- the experience of dementia
- discussing person-hood, models of dementia care and tools to support practice
The session includes clips and activities to illustrate good practice.
