This Nurses’ Day (12 May), we'll be celebrating the incredible work of the nursing profession and the difference you and your colleagues make to people’s lives, by sharing stories that demonstrate the difference nursing makes.

There’s one thing all nursing staff have in common – their unwavering commitment to changing people’s lives for the better. Not just their patients’ lives, but the lives of their patients’ families and loved ones too.

Three years since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, you continue to work in extremely challenging circumstances. Yet despite this, your patients remain your priority. And for that, we want to thank you.

Join us in demonstrating the vital difference nursing makes by sharing your stories on social media about a time when a nursing colleague has made a difference to you or someone you love. Don’t forget to use #NursesDay in your post.

You can also mark Nurses’ Day in your workplaces by ordering badges for you and your colleagues, putting up posters and using our social media graphics.

We look forward to celebrating the #NursesDay with you.
