The candidates for the current round of elections to RCN Council have been announced.
Nominations were open to fill vacancies for the following Council seats: East Midlands, Eastern, Northern, Northern Ireland, Nursing Support Worker, Scotland, South West, Wales and West Midlands.
The following seats only received one eligible nomination each and have been elected unopposed:
- East Midlands – Paul Lee
- Eastern – Theresa Porrett
- Nursing Support Worker – Kevin Morley
- Wales – Stephen Watson
Elections for the contested seats will now take place, with members able to vote for their preferred candidates when voting opens on 3 March.

Voting closes on 24 March and those successfully elected will serve their term of office until 31 December 2023.
