Our strategy
- To promote the Career and Education Framework for Cancer Nursing among nurses and ensure its integration into workforce plans across the UK
- Continue to work collaboratively with a range of nursing, charitable and government bodies
- To maximise opportunities to listen and extend our reach with members through social media
- To engage with other forums to share messages about cancer of relevance to all nurses
What we are currently working on:
Projects:
- Career and Education Framework for Cancer Nursing – Update framework to include nursing associates and work to have the framework integrated into workforce planning programmes across the UK.
- Working in a Breast Cancer Speciality – update the guideline document.
- Working on a number of position statements relating to the work of cancer nurses.
- Working with the cytotoxic safety for healthcare professionals group.
