The importance of nurses involvement with this campaign can't be over emphasised as talking to patients about their physical activity levels should be embedded into their everyday conversations. Those patients with long term health conditions can be the hardest to engage with so this campaign highlights in particular some of the ways in which healthcare professionals such as nurses and midwives can help support them.

Travel health hits the headlines
The third joint event between the RCN Public Health Forum (PHF) and the National Travel Health Network and Centre (NaTHNaC) took place on Saturday 8th February. Given the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) originating in China and declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) by WHO the event was timely.
