RCN awards
RCN awards recognise the hard work and achievements of our members.
We have several awards to help recognise and reward the hard work and dedication of our nursing colleagues and the nursing workforce. Some awards require you and the person you nominate to be a member of the RCN and some, such as the RCN Nursing Awards, don’t require you to be a member to enter.
Find out more below about the awards available and how to submit your nomination.
RCN Nursing Awards
The RCN Nursing Awards is brought to you by RCNi and recognises the most impressive nurse-led projects of recent years. Formally called RCNi Nurse Awards, the Awards celebrate incredible contributions to outstanding patient care and are open to all UK nurses, midwives, health visitors, nursing students and nursing support workers. You do not need to be an RCN member to enter the RCN Nursing Awards.
Covering a wide range of specialties, including learning disability nursing, child health, cancer nursing, mental health nursing and nursing older people, the awards are the highest accolade for nurses in the UK.
Finalists and winners of the RCN Nursing Awards often see their careers accelerate thanks to the recognition and exposure they receive from entering the awards. Many past winners have gone on to become influencers in nursing practice on a national scale.
